I install StarLine security systems with full comfort wiring. My speciality is the custom install: soft engine handover on Start/Stop cars, flexible logic written for the specific vehicle and functions the stock firmware does not provide.

- Full client cycle: choosing the system for the task and budget, installation, configuration, owner training
- Volume: about 10 installs a month off-season (March–September), up to 60 a month in the remote-start season (October–February), working without days off
- Basic install — 2 to 4 hours per car
- Custom install from scratch, no templates — about 8 hours: soft handover, writing flexible logic, wiring extra functions on request
- Retrofitting Toyota with a factory Push Start button and keyless entry via stock sensors through StarLine logic (wrote the logic before the firmware gained those functions)

Soft engine handover on Start/Stop cars
- Seamless handover of a running engine: the car does not stall when disarmed and entered
- Implemented without hiding the factory key in the cabin — by changing the operating logic
Functions the stock firmware lacks
- Disabling i-Stop and Auto Hold
- Smart comfort wiring, any custom button or function on the owner’s request
Electrics and data buses
- CAN/LIN and analogue circuits: choosing connection points, resolving conflicts with factory electronics
- Reading wiring diagrams and service manuals, including in English
- Diagnosing and fixing problems left by other installers
